Pro Choice Black Bandana

For International Women's Day 2022, Alliance for Choice Derry announce the return of our solidarity bandanas, this time to support activists in Poland and Latin America!
We are building on the tradition of the green bandana (pañuelo verde), a symbol of the struggle for abortion access that is free, safe, legal and local, and for an end to all forms of violence against women. The green bandana started with activists in Argentina and has spread all across Latin America in a 'Green Tide', a symbol of transnational solidarity with countless local versions.

This year, all proceeds will go to groups on the frontline of the fight for abortion access in both Latin America and Poland. We are adopting the red lightning bolt of Polish choice activists and slogans from both struggles that speak to our commitment that not one more woman or pregnant person should suffer or die due to lack of safe, legal, local abortion.
